Had the 31 cu ft version of this. Several issues within the first year. No techs were able to fix it. 600lb paperweight. Had to fight for a full refund involving dept of consumer protection, ftc, and bbb to get a refund.

I just want to let anybody know that if they're thinking about this refrigerator. I have it for 2 years now and I love it. It's fantastic and all the features on us is pretty cool. Good luck. Don't hesitate because I paid a lot more than this

What was the issue? I have an LG now going on eight years very similar to this one and working pretty good still.

Depth is more than 31 inches, not counter depth. False advertising.

Broken freezer drawers, faulty evaporator coil defroster, infamous compressor issues. It's good for about ten days before the evaporator coils freeze up and the compressor is searing to the touch.

Are you talking about the extra 5/8"?

How do you get the 6 ft fridge for free? It's listed at $389, and when I add it to the cart it doesn't go down to $1,700 for both. Also, I just purchased this fridge last week and it's beinf delivered soon. Any way to get Costco to modify the order to add the free fridge instead of having to buy and cancel?

When you add the main fridge to your cart, it automatically adds the 6 ft to your cart with no charge. You don't need to add the 6 ft separately, it will just cause you to have two of that item in the cart, with one being charged 389.

I heard a lot of horror stories about LG fridges. Not sure about this particular model though. What brands are most reliable in your opinion? I have Whirlpool which works fine, but my wife wants to buy something "fancy".

Think the depth is 29 1/8th. Check it on other websites or have somebody who owns it measure for you. For some reason, dimensions for fridges without handles sometimes include handle width that doesn't exist.

Have a similar model and it is 29 1/8th depth. Issue with mine is that the doors are very thick so can't push it back as much I would like or it hits the wood frame. They just came out with a zero clearance model that removes that issue right after I bought mine.

Really like my fridge, but agree with reviews and wish the doors were not as deep and heavy. No soft close on mine, not sure about this model.

The mini fridge is nice and works well. Gets cold in a couple of hours. Bigger than I thought it would be. Keeping it in storage so that if my main fridge ever goes out I'll have a back up.

Base rate neglect: This is the tendency to ignore the overall prevalence of something (in this case, how often the product fails) and focus on the specific instances of failure. If millions of people use the product, even a small percentage of failures will result in a large number of negative reports.
