Although not popular in the US anymore, Bosch dominates europe and elsewhere. Also, their batteries are super reliable unlike the shitty 8ah/12ah Milwaukee variants.
We use this 3-1/4 compact at work and it's a workhorse like most Milwaukee tools... Quick and clean cuts on conduit, strut, all thread, lfmc. The M12 version leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion. Honestly we have never had any issues with their batteries. I have 3 of their 12.0s at home (which I think are the most notorious) and thankfully no problems. Have about 25 various m18s batts across two our facilities, also no problem.. knock on wood.
I guess it's just that Milwaukee is just so widely available nowadays making it not only familiar to use across the board, but very easy to replace. Easy to accumulate a large fleet of batteries with all their combo deals tbh, we almost have too many now.
Odd.. wonder if this was a price mistake, seems weird they'd do early black friday deals & only have this 'best' price on the first day. They also had this paired with just the 5AH battery for $259.
