Cheaper than last year by a lil bit at the expense of game being free to play. No 1st/3rd party game like spiderman, cal of duty, sport game and such. Lame bundle deal imo but not that important for newcomers

The cheapest PS5 Pro could get around BF is $679.99 realistically. A mere $20 isn't gonna get many folks to buy. Maybe a few but hardly.

What will get more folks to buy the PS5 Pro, bundle w/ game or not, is the disc drive being added as a bundle for FREE. I'll be surprised if majority of folks here disagree with me on this.

Cheaper than last year by a lil bit at the expense of game being free to play. No 1st/3rd party game like spiderman, cal of duty, sport game and such. Lame bundle deal imo but not that important for newcomers

That what I was saying. Last year bundle was better compared to this but no Time Machine exists.

Correct me if I'm 100% wrong but I think this is the first time in a long time that a BF PS system bundle contain no, for a lack of better term, "quality IP" game. If so, then it is just unusual.

Agree. This is the only gift on one kid's list and a sports bundle would be so much better.

Probably the main selling point here is the temp price cut not the included game. Hopefully this starts sooner, one retailer has to start and all will follow and if it's not doing well, they will throw in something extra, a controller, game, etc.

I don't disagree butni also don't think it'll happen soon, Sony seems greedy, higher price for pro, lame bundle with no cod or sports game, their bundles are usually better than this, especially for holiday stuff. I'm wondering if it's worth waiting for Christmas season instead of black Friday / cyber Monday

I noticed Amex currently has $50 off $500 offer for ABT and they sell the Pro so that's another option especially if you combine it with some cashback sites.

Got to agree. Always leaned towards Sony since PS1. But it seems Sony is starting to get greedy. Not liking some of things they are doing this generation. Selling parts of the console separately. Releasing the PS5 in only white. So you have to buy an overpriced plastic cover in a different color. Then the PRO at $700 + $80 for the drive. Then the stand cost $30.

Yeah you said it best.

Speaking for myself alone I'm staying with the PS4 Pro. PS5 doesn't impress me enough for the $ to upgrade.
