RAM is good. Panel is OK.

Only two thunderbolt ports and one usb port? And no other NVMe slots? Meh. It's a 14" laptop but still 3.5 lbs?

The problem I have in this price range is that for a bit more money I could get one with some gaming chops. I dunno. Not terrible, but not compelling to me.

Would you mind sharing which one you are referring to? I'm concerned that a laptop like that would be heavy and would require charging too early.
I believe it's just over 4 lbs which isn't light but good for the size and specs. Supposedly gets between 8-14 hours on battery depending on which review and methodology (though heavy gaming will of course be much lower). My wife and I both use 16" LG Grams for their featherweight while on the road but have full on desktops at home. However, I think a workstation type laptop is good for a high school kid as it serves so many scenarios for them, albeit at a weight penalty.

Can you give me your first impression for the device if it has arrived. I'm literally torn between this and the device you have linked. The only potential shortcomings of the lenovo is it being refurbished and people complaining about the hinges.

Unfortunately it will be a while as it's for my son for Christmas!

Any issues with this device why did they drop $600 ? Pricing seems to be too good to be true..

I thought this one is outperformed the Costco deal - Asus Zenbook. Larger RAM, better chip, better display, better build quality.
I believe zenbook doesn't come with copilot.

How are the thermals looking on these HX 300-based Omnis? I am trying to decide between the 375 Omnibook and their upcoming 300-based Elitebooks

Is this better than the Asus Zenbook S14 or S16 deal from Bestbuy few days ago with same specs except for 24GB ram instead of 32GB ram.

This is hitting a lot of the check marks for sub-$1000.
