Those that use android the DJI app still won't take advantage of the extra cameras or full resolution of your main camera. Just something to keep in mind

Unfortunately yes. The app actually tells you when your phone is off balanced so you can readjust. The stabilizing feature works much better in the app as well as ask the buttons and short cuts, (front/back camera, portrait/landscape) and follow focus feature are the main ones I use often. As for the overheating comment from Vk, mine has never over heated and I use it for recording video over an hour straight. Hope this helps!

Literally bought this in June full price. This gimbal is amazing, takes some time to get to know the basic functions and some of the features but there're a lot of YouTube guides out there that'll help. For the price, you won't regret it.

Looks like the DJI app is no longer downloadable in the Google Play store and Apple app store according to a few reviews I read. This is a pretty big security risk.

For App Store, DJI Mimo app is still there.

For Android, from project description:

Due to platform compatibility issue, the DJI Mimo app has been removed from Google Play. You cannot search for DJI Mimo in Google Play. To ensure a better product usage experience, please log in to the DJI official website to download the latest version of DJI Mimo.
