Yes they do that every year around Black Friday and Christmas. If apple care is important to you then Costco deal is your best bet. If cheapest price is more important than look into Deals like this plus check your credit card offers as I often see 10% cashback deals from Staples. Also Amazon: if you have Amex/Chase/Discover and are eligible for their pay with points promotions for 10%-40% off when using points (YMMV) that's usually the cheapest way to get airpods

I had gone through the replacement program for one of the pods about a year after I bought them (bought them during lockdown). Then about a few months ago the crackling became unbearable on both. Took them to the Genius Bar and they told me I was SOL since it was past the replacement program's period.

Hope something comes out of the lawsuit, buds this expensive (comparatively) shouldn't crap out like this.

Got one today in SoCal. App shows not in stock but they had at least 5 in stock when I got there. Redeemed $20 coupon which can be used after Nov 26th. Was able to use my Easy Rewards as well.
