. You cannot download any applications unless it is from Microsoft and you cannot use Google unless you permanently get out of S Mode. Once you are out of S Mode, you lose your Windows 11 license. Reviewers are saying they are taking hours trying to delete S Mode without success. Dell tech support responds just call them. This laptop sounds like one big headache.
About a year AMD came out with the 8840HS and the 8845HS. This CPU has the 780m GPU built into it... the 780m was once a top of the line GPU about 8 years ago.
Bottom line, these two CPU can not be beat if you want a decent GPU and not pay the big bucks.
I purchased a Idea Pad by Lenov for $454 (refurbished) with a 8845HS, 1 TB and 16GB.

Your statement that you can't visit google, which is just a website, just because this laptop is in "S Mode" is so completely wrong, it's ridiculous.
Secondly, you can get out of S mode incredibly easily. It's literally 2 steps. Here's an official guide:
