Sneaker head here. Having owned over 20 pairs of running and fashion sneakers including Hoka , Nike Air max , Air Jordans , Converse , Vans amongst others, i can confidently say Adidas Ultraboost is the BEST everyday and running sneaker. I have three pairs, wife has two and i just bought another one from woot given the price lol
I can't agree with this. I run 7-10k daily. Ultraboost are great for lifestyle or walking shoe. But absolutely horrible for actual running especially the versions after 2020.

Adidas makes fantastic running shoes, these aren't it.

How do these compare to Hoka brand shoes? Are they as comfortable?
These are daily wear, not meant for running honestly, super heavy and uneven cushion

I have only ran in ultraboosts. Hundreds of miles. They're all solid running shoes.

Never heard of Hoka. Almost everyone only use either Adidas or Nike for daily activities. Buy directly from Adidas or Nike store to get authentic shoes, more styles, cheaper price and easy return.
Hoka and On Running are the hottest and fastest growing shoe makers of 2024.

To be clear, the Ultraboost 22s start at $52 w/code.
The 5.0 DNAs are $80.55 w/code = not slick.

I have two different brands of running shoes, Saucony and these Ultraboost. I find that the Ultraboost are more comfortable for me rather than the more expensive pair of Sauconys .

I walk 20-30k steps at work and my UB 22 have been the best pair of shoes I've owned for that job so far. Colours don't matter to me so this is definitely a slick deal at $52!

So that were on the same page 7-10k is not high mileage. Not even close. However active runners may have different definitions of high mileage.

Jumping on the treadmill for 15-20 mins and calling that active running is not the same. Hell you can get away with converses doing that.

Ultraboosts are not great running shoes adidas makes an entirely different line for runners eg Bostons, adizero, etc. Ultraboosts are not running shoes for active runners

Agreed. The only thing that really compares to UBs now are the Fresh Foam 1080s from New Balance.

As a daily 10mi+ runner (16-20k), I would never run in UBs. It's like running with big cushy cinder blocks tied to your feet. That said, I pretty much live in these for daily walking shoes..especially if you are going to be on your feet for a while.

I've got a pair. It's like running in pillowy cinderblocks. Best walking shoes I have, but the drop height on these makes you heel strike super aggressively which made it hard for me to enjoy running in them.

I'm used to an 8mm drop height which is pretty middle of the road and these are something like 13mm which is a noticeable difference.
