This offer can be combined with the $10 Tello Dollars for a new account. You have use a referral code when creating the account.

And for those new to Tello, you can roll the unused amount of the 5GB to the next month by manually renewing a day before the automatic renewal.

I use Tello for my daughter's smartwatch. At $7 including tax per month. It's the most affordable service.

I have been a Tello subscriber for years with a few Android smartphones now. I have never had a problem with coverage. It may be unique for me but in the Western Phila. PA suburbs and it rivals the Verizon coverage my GF had before she switched to Tello. My only experience with customer service was when I had problems moving my then new 5G Pixel phone to Tello. We eventually solved the problem by moving to a eSIM, haven't had a hiccup since. I save a boatload of money, for a short period I needed to switch to their unlimited plan. It was seamless and I have since moved back to the 5G/mo plan since it is no longer needed. I save a boatload of money and very happy with their service.

What kind of smartwatch do you use? I have been looking for one for my daughter.

I'm glad that they waive the SIM card fee. Could be a good way to get in and downgrade to a lower plan later, while rolling over the data allotment.

I had Tello for 3 years with no issues. Switched over to Spectrum only because they offered me a year for free. That expires in March so if Spectrum won't match Tellos price, I will switch back.

Got Tello for my teen child. I like that you can customize a plan with reduced voice minutes to bring the plan cost down. No one not even a teen spends much time talking on the phone these days. It's either text or FaceTime.

Tello normally charges a $3 SIM card fee on top of all plan cost.

It's good to see them waive the $3 SIM card for this offer.

Tello charges taxes on top of the service plan unlike Visible so total for me was $10.16 out the door

No they still charge a $3 SIM card fee on top of the first month $10 plan
Not for this deal (see attachment). It is 100% off the SIM. So $4 off the plan plus $3 off the SIM, plus $10 off the second month if you downgrade to the 2GB plan for a total of $17 in savings. Or looking at it another way, I will get two months and 7GB of data for $10.30.

How does $10 off the second month work? Do you downgrade at the end of the first month, or immediately?

If you use a referral when you create an account, you get $10 in Tello Dollars. After you activate with the 5GB plan in this deal, you will see in your dashboard the renewal date. Mark your calendar for the day before. On that day you can manually renew for a $10 plan and change the payment to the Tello Dollars. Also by manually renewing, you roll over unused data. So if in the first month you only use 2.5GB, then you will roll the remaining 2.5GB to the next month. The two $10 plans are 2GB with unlimited talk/text or 5GB with unlimited text, but no minutes.

One of the nice things about Tello is the flexibility. You can easily upgrade or downgrade each month based on your expected usage.

The Tello flexibility now becomes annoying to me after using for a while. You must remember to pay your plan before the due date in order to carry on over unused min or data.

Well, you don't have to roll your data if it is too much trouble. Most plans from other carriers reset every month so if that works for you, just let it autorenew.
