Lol my coworker is from Chinese coming here on working visa told me that he 'd rather use iphone but not Chinese Android phonr since he knows how his government is tracking everyone lol

I've been looking at picking up one of the 3, I'm leaning towards the Sennheiser personally

rtings has them as effectively equal except the Sennheiser has about 40% more battery life whereas the Sony is apparently better with ANC. So kind of depends what's most important to you. They give the Sony the edge in the comparison but looking at the graphs and individual categories I'm not really clear on why. Personally I'm with you that I would take the Sennheiser as the differences seem really minor in comparisons other than 40% more battery life which is pretty major...

I have the QC Ultra and QC 2023. One of them might go back. I like the Ultras better overall but the QC 2023 is more comfortable and that's a big deal, but the QC 2023 Audio cuts out when connected to multiple devices. How does this Sennheiser compare? Also, is it comfortable? I have a big head and large pointy ears that's why I like the bose. I've seen reviews that these sound better so it might be good to have around the house and keep one of the bose for travel since it folds, lighter, and better ANC.

B&H Photo currently has these headphones for $193. The lowest I've seen. They are pretty highly rated. I also read that they pair with two devices pretty well. Having just said all that, I just ordered the Bose QC Ultras as well! What do I know? 🤷🏽 ♂️

My wife has xm5 and I have these. Both are comfortable but these feel better on my massive head. Once you set up sound these have noticeably better sound especially with music. Podcasts and books I don't notice any difference. With that being said the noise cancellation is noticeably better on her XM5 headphones.
with all these being said both are great with sound and noise cancellation so it's not like you are giving up much but if sound is more important I would go with these and if anc is more important then XM5 may be the play

Note: you can NOT fully turn off ANC on this pair of headphones. A truly baffling design decision.

If that doesn't matter to you, these headphones often rank at or toward the top of sound quality for the $300-600 range
