Costco is 34 large pairs for $12 on sale, which is right now. I cut larges in half for medium jobs, the tabbed half on the wall. I'd say Costco is a better deal.

I can say this can be true πŸ˜‚. Maybe they didn't follow the directions but when followed I didn't have a problem in my home.

The broken picture frame with no glass that's sitting on my table waiting to get fixed says that these are a great idea.

i get everyone likes easy

but these command strips are such crap. you aren't guaranteed a good hold over time, when you go to remove them it easily rips the paperface off your drywall

tenants seem love these bc they are easy to put up, and when they move out and rip them all off, it creates considerable damage and they throw a fit when our painter/hanydman has to charge an extra $250 against their security deposit b/c they have to go around oil priming and patching the exposed paperbacking on 28 spots all over the apartment

I second this - if you don't follow directions, it could mess up the wall but using the pull tab, these come off easily.

$11.99 for 34 large (better deal) though I bought a few of these just to have the smaller sizes readily on hand

I've had these installed on my drywall for 6 years and recently removed them the PROPER way, by pulling down the tabs. Paint is fine with no peeling.

Lived in a place with lath & plaster walls, and had a similar issue. Learned to pull the tab, while holding the opposite end of the reusable piece, and pull SLOWLY. Usually pulled to within 1/8" of the end, where I could just pop it off, with minimal damage.

Not sure if it is a deal but this is what I use and it makes hanging very easy: https://www.homedepot.com/pep/302044213

People do realize there are many different walls with many different paints, right? What works for you may not work for someone else.

My biggest issue with these was actually the loss of grip after 5-10 years. YMMV but a few cracked frames has convinced me to move away from these.

I don't know of any specific deals but we have a couple gallery walls and I swear by monkey hooks. Command Strips are my first choice if I think they'll hold and the piece isn't heavy or fragile, then Monkey Hooks if the piece's hardware will work with it, then Toggler toggle bolts if I need to hold a ton of weight like shelving.
