Thinking of retiring my old guitar amp for this. Seems super versatile as a portable music/party speaker that can double as an amplifier occasionally. Anyone have experience using with a guitar?

I've been using the Bose S1 paired with a POD Go. It works great. I'm assuming this works the same way, but you definitely need an amp sim.

If I use it with an acoustic guitar with built-in pickup, do I still need an amp sim? I think for an acoustic guitar, a neutral amp/speaker is desired while an electric guitar needs certain distortion to sound like an electric guitar. Is that a correct assumption?

Costco app now allows checking the warehouse inventory and price. Only problem is it has one blurry picture with no details. Looks similar to pictures I take at sporting events 🥴

The 310 goes on sale for $250 occasionally on eBay and other sites. I'd get that unless you want a smaller speaker.
