AFAIK, the Creations II is a rebadged Vitamix 5200, I believe that model is superior to the Explorian.

I did a little searching too, seems like they're about equally regarded, with the biggest difference being the container size. I prefer the smaller size and better price on the a Explorian personally.

Venturist for the Bluetooth programs. But that has gotten down to $200 in the last. That might have been refurbished I can't remember
