Can confirm even the Q5 Pro is a great deal at $139. I took sooooo long to buy a robot vacuum, and last time this was on sale I bought this one. 3 kids, 2 cats, under 2000 SF house, it is super convenient and has taken the ease off simple cleaning around the house. I empty it every 3 or so times doing the whole house, but a lot of times I'm just doing high traffic rooms. Couldn't be happier. It's also extremely easy to clean- the parts are made to come apart very easily, clean very easily, and reassemble. If you're on the fence, it's worth it
I don't know which is BEST, but just FYI, the Q5 Pro, while it says it has a mop function, it's not really automated... it's basically just a pad on the bottom, with a little reservoir for water. It has weep holes that gradually wet the mop, and they start as soon as you have water in it, and it doesn't stop until it's empty.

So it doesn't know when it's over carpet, so you have to make a separate map with no-go zones when you want to mop, then another map for carpeted areas. The mop doesn't lift up when it senses carpet (it doesn't sense carpet), nor will it cut the water off when it's parked.

HOWEVER, it does work as a mop if you are very attentive. So if you just leave the reservoir empty for regular use, then once a week or month, want to fill it with water, you just have to make sure you're around when it finishes, and grab the mop module off the robot, and empty it out in the sink when it's done.

But it really just wets the floor... no scrubbing involved. Better to just mop by hand as needed and leave the robot for just vacuuming. Or find a different unit that has more advanced functions.

It's an excellent vacuum and we bought it in august for $160, you really have to watch shoelaces and charging cables... it eats them and gets stuck on the regular.
Stay far away from deebot, the app and mapping software is utter trash. It was constantly forgetting the map, having to get babied, and stalling out. Roborock is the superior vacuum by far.

I got 50% wood and 50% tile in my home. I need a mop, which is the best vacuum for that?

For those who prefer to order on Amazon, a discount code also works there. For the Q5 Pro I clipped the $70 off coupon on the product page and then entered the promo code at check out and I was able to purchase 1 at $139.

Which do you suggest for… MOSTLY carpeted house with german shepherd dog, some tiles in kitchen/bath but I'm not sure i want the mop feature since it requires additional cleaning and attention. IDEALLY have the auto empty since its >2000sqft, can do without the mopping as long as the suction power is enough for carpet/dog… any suggestions? TIA!!
I also have a German Shepard and wish I had the auto empty feature. The cleaning area is under 800sqft and I'll have to empty the bin multiple times in one session. Otherwise, I'm very happy with mine, especially the software.

Great deal but the deal with the emptying dock is pretty average and that's a must imo

Is this dead? I'm getting $194 instead of $139 for q5 pro on Amazon. Tried both zero and capital O in promo code

Still worked for me, I just purchased one on Amazon for $140 plus tax. I used the promo code in the post - RRQ5PROBF.

It still doesn't work for me. 179 plus 15 shipping. 194. I'll reach out to Amazon.

Amazon customer service says there is no code on their end that would discount this aside from the $70 clippable coupon. They recommended I purchase directly from the vendor. What's the point in paying for Amazon, then? They also claim to not price match which I know they used to do.

I'm definitely prime for over a decade. Hence my comment about what's the point of paying for Amazon if I have to purchase directly from the vendor

Does this avoid small things on ground? Like charge cables etc??
