Just sharing for those who prefer to use it since I've benefited from past years posts. Of course it is your choice if you choose to or not, there are many options to file.

And not for everyone. It only applies to people with specific types of forms they want to fill

Are you factoring in inflation? What was the base price versus discounted price last year and what be the spread this year?

I'm tempted, though I'm aware that pricing for TurboTax and Block Tax traditionally have a few significant dips between now and April 15. But I am usually anxious to get started on running the numbers. I've had many years where some late year activity has been beneficial, and the sooner I know that the better.
But, I've preferred Block for some years now. And for both, the 'premier' edition - Costco only has that bundled with state, and their price for that is just a few bucks less than the Block Premier currently is. I really don't need state software, my state system is pretty simple and they offer direct online filing that is easy to use.
So thanks for posting this, but I'm going to hold out. If I catch any Black Friday deals, I'll probably snap that up, though I know the best deals can come well into the new year.

Last year was negative inflation. I paid less for 2023 than 2022. I always buy from Amazon after Christmas. December 27/28 has been my historical window.
