Counterpoint: playing with my young kids who can't read is a way for me to read to them with a moving story while I get to enjoy the gameplay.

I'm more fond of the original SNES graphics. This one everyone is a little rounder. Might be nostalgia for me however.

FYI, it applies to digital as well, with no tax. $33.24 with red card.

The woman actually just found this deal by herself a second ago and if I had the game or not!
Looks like she's a slick dealer after all!

Man I was so immensely disappointed with this game. No co-op and they made it dirt easy obviously for kids but also had so much text dialogue that kids end up losing interest so fast. If you want a game where you have to force your kids to play it and help them pronounce words every couple minutes, this is it.
Did they change it from the original difficulty? I don't remember the game being all that difficult.

There are some fights that are pretty difficult like Culex and Jinx. And they added extra hard bosses at the end of the game in this version after you complete the game. Other than that, the game difficulty is pretty similar. All that said, I like this version but still like the charm of the original more.

That user had very high expectations. Was it realistic and or fair? Not really imo alone

How did they change the charm? I thought this was mostly a graphical upgrade with some slight retooling.

How does this compare to the one included in the SNES classic?

Is this satire? This game was one of the defining games of my childhood.
