Black Friday sale: 35% off Lynskey titanium complete gravel and mountain bikes/bicycles as well as frames.

Some frames are 40% off. Based on feedback from others, it appears that this deal does not apply to custom builds of complete bikes, only ones that are pre-built by Lynskey. One way to deal with that challenge is to simply order a frame for the discounted price, have it shipped out to you, take it to a local bike shop and complete your custom build with the components that you want. That's what I did with a Bearclaw Thunderhawk frame a few years back.

just note that shipping will take about a month, and double check your bike when you get it. Mine came with ton of loose bolts, and the wheels and fork were damaged.

Will wait for the 45% on the GRX300, if it doesn't come that's fine too.

I bought the GR300 a month ago when it was 25% off. I also googled a discount code for an additional 45% off and it actually worked. So I was able to get 65% off the bike.

The code I used was "WOW45"
No idea if it still works but I recommend trying all the codes you can find.

did someone mention used racing bikes for a fraction of the price? how about 200 bucks and Carbon too; so much to choose from when we become Slick dealers.

a 2000 dollar bike? meh, i can buy 10 great used bikes for that.............less theft too. hmmmm.
$200 for a decent carbon bike?! Please share you findings! Maybe if they're 15 y/o+ & and 9 or 10 speed. No way you'd get quality components from a $200 Bike.

**Edit** Also, these bikes are overpriced as hell even with the discount code.

Mine came with a faulty derailleur. Took over a month to get a replacement

That was a limited time 45% off promo that they were running, there was a SD post about it as well but it is dead now.

yep, before Covid a local Trek shop had a nice used carbon bike for 200. should have picked it up but i have too many bikes as is.

now they dump off their trade ins at a charity, since becoming a company store. they also sold me very nice Road bikes for 200 that were big dollar bikes new.

sniff around and see what you can find. buying used will get you much more bike for the same money. true in a lot of things IF you know how to shop, takes work.

Perfect, you'll get a coronary while riding a cheaper bike.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me when my disc brake rotors arrived slightly bent, and I had to take it to local shop to true. That's why I think it's worth it to remind them to pack it well, and that you'd be willing to pay a little extra even for that luxury.

I would skip on the 2x11 GRX "specials" that they have for BF. You can build out a Rival AXS XPLR 1x12 GR Edge for about the same price (unless you really want the 2x11 mech shifting).

In general this deal isn't as hot as the early October 45% off deal. Not only is the discount smaller, but they jacked up the cost on each build by $150-$200, resulting in the cheapest AXS build being ~$2200, which is $400 more than what it would have cost in the October sale (~$1800). Except...

The screaming deal IMHO is the Red/Force AXS XPLR BF build that comes out to $2515 + ~$230 shipping (but no tax to most states). It's almost the full SRAM Red XPLR group, but the crank is the Force XPLR. You're basically get a whole high quality TI bike for just the cost of the groupset. I would totally be all over that if I didn't just pick up a Lynskey frame back in October.

The heart surgery is dozens of times more expensive than the bike...
