I ordered a new fan and received an open box fan in a heavily damaged box last time when I ordered from them. YMMV

Bullseye is Target return/open box stuffs, I too have same experience. Ordered echo studio and got an open box/return.

Some of their items are labeled as "New" condition while others are labeled as "Open Box".

Same as this deal, the fan I ordered was labeled as "New", but I received an open box fan.
Thankfully their customer support is very responsive and I've received a refund.

Same experience. "New" items are really open box/returns/or beat up boxes from stores. I had one item completely cut open by a box cutter on one side. Many of the boxes were opened and retapped.

My experience was just the opposite. Received a brand new unit in an undamaged box.

If i recall correctly Vornado has a good no questions asked warranty as well. I think it was 5 years on the last fan I bought.
