Remember the two golden secrets of Audible. 1) Store unused credits as pre-order audiobook purchases before your subscription runs out. There is no need to use all your credits before your membership ends. When you see a book you want (in or outside of membership), just cancel the pre-order and your credit will be returned. If that pre-order is about to be released and you still haven't used the credit, cancel the pre-order, and use the credit on another pre-order. 2) Return audiobooks you have already listened to for credits. You can usually return up to three audiobooks at a time, but this allowance is often only every couple of months. You can return books up to one year from purchase.

At one point, it seems like some said they couldn't put their .99 membership on pause, but later you could again.
True dat it's only a $1/month for 3-months.

"Project Hail Mary" was fantastic. Was looking forward for the movie, until I saw Ryan Gosling in the lead (according to IMDB at the time of this post). He's an OK actor, but way too pretty to pull off a believable high school science teacher with no social life. Who could pull it off? Steve Carell (yes, from The Office).

Thank you, repped. I cancelled my membership on Nov 8 and just got this promotion. I had been on the 12 month/credit membership.

I also like Leviathan Wakes and all the James S. A. Corey novels. Their new series is excellent too, as is the narrator.

Watch your billing. I did the same thing where I had a deal, cancelled it and signed up with a new deal a couple weeks later. I ended up getting billed the full amount.

Audible customer service was great and fixed it when I called.
