Switch Pro controller at $50 is the lowest price in 3 years.

Pikmin is a fantastic series, it's sort of a cross between action adventure, real time strategy, and puzzle solving. If you've never played it before, I'd recommend going straight to Pikmin 4, it's the newest one and has a ton of features and improvements that make it very welcoming to new players, especially compared to 1 and 2. 1 and 2 are great games as well, but they're 20 years old and you can tell, the UI can be clunky and the gameplay is unforgiving in a lot of ways. The Switch re-release didn't do much at all to modernize them, just a few little tweaks and bug fixes, along with upscaled graphics.

Odyssey is great, really worth it at that price. Never played pikmin, is it worth it? A little disappointing no more discounts announced considering Switch 2 is right around the corner.

Backwards compatibility has been confirmed. They haven't confirmed if it includes physical games or digital only.

Yeah, the exact details are unknown. IF it's only one or the other though then I would have to say it'll be physical.

I will pick up extra copy Pikmin 1&2 collection. Likely it'll be oop soon. Already bought plenty of Pikmin 3 for cheap. Scored 2 copies of Pikmin 4 for $30 each few months ago. ☺️👍

Pikmin games are a lot of fun. Exploration, some puzzles, mild combat (mostly) with a different way of dealing with enemies, and some survival. Good stuff.
