M3 is faster and supports 2 external monitors when lid closed.

The SSD in this is also faster than the M2. Might not notice it in day to day tasks, but still. For $100 more than the earlier M2 deal, I think the upgrades here and an extra year of software support is worth it (definitely more so than paying $200 for an extra 256gb of onboard storage).

would this be an upgrade or downgrade of a MB pro M1? I like it but it's so heavy and i travel a ton for work

! At the same time I don't want to give up the battery life or beautiful screen. How does the m3 air compare?
