This is one of those things I didn't think I needed until I had it. It's so satisfying. If nothing else in my life is organized, at least my batteries are.

I have the original and I think is a solid product. Not brittle as stated above.

I bought the original one that holds 180 batteries and as you said the plastic is not brittle.
Has a little flex to it.
I got it a while ago through Slickdeals from Amazon for $9.99 and it is a solid deal.

Yeah I bought one a couple years ago and I don't find it brittle either. I am not gentle with things and it's been knocked around a bit.

Got the 180 batteries version last year for $10, and I think it's the best cheap plastic crap I've ever had. $10 level build quality for sure, but does its job perfectly. We put it on garage shelf and don't move it around though, so not sure if the build holds if it's carried around very frequently - feels that it should be fine, since we find it a little difficult to open

And not sure if this 150 batteries version is built differently

I have one from a previous SD posting maybe a year ago. Still in great shape, no issues with plastics or anything. Maybe different environment or use cases have an effect on the longevity of the plastics.

It seems that way but holds up nicely over time. Great design imo. Definitely a keeper at 10 bucks

They cheapened it up and made it smaller. The 180 had a nicer battery tester and slots for odd sized batteries.

I've had one for about 3 years.

It lives in the bottom of my coat closet.

Grand-kids know where it is and can grab and bring it out when something needs a battery.

I sure wouldn't want to send it down the luggage belt at the airport, but for keeping all my batteries together and handy, it's great.
