Your service will not begin until your SIM is activated. If you purchased a physical SIM, it will be shipped to you and your SIM will be automatically activated 2 days after purchase. If you purchased an eSIM, it will automatically be activated upon completion of your purchase.
and also this
Limited time offer subject to availability. Offer available on new lines of service purchased at Lycamobile.com only. ENROLLMENT IN AUTO-RENEWAL REQUIRED to obtain discounted offer price. Discounted price available for initial 30-day plan and further 2 renewals, contingent on continued enrolment in auto-renewal (if auto-renewal is disabled or fails, discounted offer price will no longer apply for subsequent plan purchases).
By the way Boost mobile also did this auto activation nonsense the last time they had a slickdeal on a SIM + 1 year of service with unlimited data + calls + texts. Hate to see this becoming the new norm with these deals.

Why would you want this just for 1-3months? (yes, $10/month is a deal)
- But, it seems like a big hassle, to change to and then again to another cellular service, after 3rd month
I certainly cannot see paying Std rate of $49/month after 3rd month

Who keeps this longer than three months? Is it easy to port out?
