That 2.5Ah battery isn't gonna last very long based on my experiences. Maybe for a small yard without a ton of leaves.

But the 4Ah is $219, you can't complain. You get what you pay for, may be buy a spare battery

I haven't been able to find any good prices on spare batteries, almost better to buy with a tool.

Yeah, 2.5AH is a fallback battery when your 5 or 7 dies just as you're trying to finish. You WILL kill this battery using it in the blower...this is best in a trimmer or hedge shear.

A couple thoughts from someone who owns the 765cfm blower, 2 4ah batteries and 2 5ah batteries:

1. It is probably worth getting the higher cfm blower if you can. The 765 is fantastic. I don't know if I'd be happy with the 530cfm.

2. 4ah batteries are plenty for what I need. I use them in the mower, string trimmer, and blower. I have about an acre and one 4ah is enough to blow on fairly high speed for 30-40 minutes. I think I've only run out of juice once during yard cleanup this fall, and I just swapped out another battery. I can mow and edge my whole lawn and use the leaf blower for cleanup using less than two full batteries.

3. I know the batteries are expensive but I have acquired all of mine through tool purchases. Blower came with 5ah. I got a refurb 18" chainsaw that came with another 5ah. Mower came with 2 4ah. I have a 2.5ah that came with my string trimmer but I don't use it on my other tools as it's too small.

I have both the 765 and 530. Honestly, it's not a huge drop off to the 530. It's fine for clearing driveways and sidewalks. For heavy stuff like wet leaves, yeah the extra power matters.
And I like having the smaller battery for smaller jobs. Keeps the blower much lighter.

i got this refurb'd back in 21 for $109 and it's been great. power seems fine esp if you use the turbo but i have never tried it on wet leaves. i do concur w others saying that the 2.5ah battery is just not enough when trying to clear an average size yard. maybe i hit the Turbo too much but i find myself running out about 3/4 of the way all the time. i end up just using a corded blower and let my kid run wild w this thing. lol. also, FWIW, this blower is great for drying your car (esp if you have a tall SUV/truck. there is a short tube attachment you can get which is great for that application.

I also got the 530 with trimmer combo. Definitely enough power. If you have additional batteries I would recommend this.

It definitely performs like a toy, still don't understand why people don't just buy a gas blower
Because I can literally just put a battery on my blower and press a button. Zero maintenance, 5 year warranty, and it is more than powerful enough to get the job done on my average .75 acre lot.
