How does this thing weigh 182lbs? Figure 60lbs ish for the battery, 20lbs (prolly generous) for the inverter, charge controller circuit, and internal wiring. So 102 lbs of display, outlets, and packaging?

I don't think this was ever really worth $4K, and these days there's no way I'd pay $2K for something that's only 120V.

EP500 has a max AC charge speed of 600 watts. That means it'll take over 9 hours to charge it from empty. Not great

I saw that ac recharge only 600w and Yeah that is pretty odd I thought as well. Solar recharge rate is 1200w though. 🤷 ♂️

Bizarre product, slow AC charge speed with a capacity over 2x as large as inverter output. Not sure who this is for.

Home battery storage in offgrid/remote areas? I imagine you charge it during the day with some cheap solar setup (i.e. ground mount panels). Then it discharges when sun isn't shining, so having lots of Wh's would be beneficial.

In 2020 it was for someone that really hated money.

The general idea hasn't changed.

Just another obsolete old tech product.

A really outdated device.
That's a montroscity of a unit that delivered on 2000w.
I mean it has wheels but how the hell are you moving a 170lbs unit.
