First great deal on a new(ish) product Smilie

What's the general consensus on these compared to the Bose Ultra Open-Ear [bestbuy.com]? They're $249 right now and I'm hoping they go down to $200 on BF (but will realistically be $229). Are they worth $80 more than these? I've had Shokz for years and have the OpenRun Pro's and mini OpenRun's the last few years and was thinking of upgrading to the Bose since I wear glasses - figured they may be a tad more comfortable.
Shockz changed my life.

First, for walking around a city there is nothing better. Being able to hear and maintain spatial awareness is incredible.

Second, if you have ADHD and music helps you focus it has been a game changer to leave these on at all times with low level focus music and be able to continue to have conversations. I realized this because I forget that they're even on my head and realized it was much easier to pay attention to conversations.

Other cool thing. I hate sleeping on planes with ear buds in. It hurts to lay either way but I like to listen to white noise to help sleep on planes and the Shockz weren't loud enough.

And then I realized that I could put ear plugs in and still hear the white noise. Comfy soft ear plugs.

Anyway, I live attached to my Shockz.

I was an early adopter of these when they hit the market. Road running was so much safer with these (in fact, with few exceptions I never ran with music on the road before I got my first pair of bone condition headphones). But "hear through" mode on earbuds pretty much ended my need for these. I only use them now on road trips when I'm driving at night and others are sleeping.

Yeah I wear them 24/7. I've probably sold a few hundred pairs for Shokz based on the number of deals I've posted on them and convincing multiple family members, friends and coworkers to buy them haha.

It's super rare tbh. I have a mini aeropex (the previous name of the openrun) but yeah, they rarely see a sale for whatever reason.

Which do you prefer? If the mini fits is the additional space a nuisance?
I honestly don't notice the extra space being an issue. Both are equally comfortable for me at least.

I wear both sizes with a standard bicycle helmet with no issues. If the helmet goes down lower to protect the bottom half of the back of your head you may run into difficulty though.
For cycling I would recommend the non-pro version. These are similar to the old aeropex and work better as they are true bone conduction.

Interested, but I note it is only a 14 day return window and buyer pays for returns...

Why would the pros not be good for cycling? I have the pros (not the 2) and it's true bone conduction as well. I've put 100s of hours on them cycling. Definitely love them, especially from a safety perspective.

The ear plugs are huge! I do all my yard work and most flights in the 2019 version of these (but the battery has started to fail...)

Are they usable during cycling? I have the 2019 ones (Trek shok air or some such) and I could never hear anything about about 12mph because of wind noise. It was a shame, because I originally bought them so I could still listen to podcasts when I commuted by bike.

They've been amazing for cycling. I've had at least 5 of my cycling buddies buy them on my recommendation and they've all been happy. The newer Pros are super thin and barely weigh anything. Now you won't get amazing sound quality, but I can definitely hear the music when hitting 20mph+

I just used them on a bike ride Sunday. Good bass, and could heard the music perfectly without going above 50%. Didn't get up past 20 mph on my ride though.

I have a large head (baseball caps don't normally fit me) What style/brand would you suggest?
