Really good game, might win GOTY, got this during launch because my son wanted it so badly, So I gave in instead of waiting for a black friday deal, and enjoyed every minute of it. His face was priceless during the entire gameplay. Worth every penny.

Is this a game with Replay-ability? Something the 8 and 9 year olds would just keep picking up and playing?

I dont think so. You would beat the game once and get most of the bots. Then you could go back and get all the remaining bots but that would only add another 2-3 hours. Playing it after that would truly be repeating content.

I would say so, my son kept going back to old worlds he had already finished to try to 'fully complete it' rather than just going thru it and being done with it. it took us quite some time to finish some of the worlds we unlocked but still haven't finished it, there is almost secret places we never found but he's shown me on youtube.

Yes, the level design is amazing. Worth replaying even after collecting the bots.

Official AD isn't up yet but I know Target will have this for $49.99 or 5% less with their redcard starting Dec 1. Most likely other stores will have it at that price too. This game is selling really well for Sony.
