I bought this at Costco when they had it on Clearance in 2023 May. As a stand alone sound bar it sounds good, and this was the reasonable choice for a the only feature I was interested in: Voice control.
That time the full price was officially maybe $699 and $300 on Costco Clearance.
Notice that some Bose sound bars have different remotes, this one was supposed to control all video equipment, too. Never needed that feature.
Used with google + Spotify streaming, usually works, fast, responsive. About once every two months I need to unplug and replug it as the google assistant responds (on the speaker) that "the speaker cannot be reached, try again later"
What was missing from this "outdated" model is dolby Atmos decoding. Do you have 7 speakers correctly placed in your living room? If not, then you do not need dolby Atmos, most users will not hear any difference if the same bitrate is used. Music is 2 channels anyways, so I did not think I missed out an atmos.
For $300 I do not think there is a better smart speaker (for voice controlling streaming music)

looks outdated model. not available as brand new anywhere, so I am not finding the Actual cost of a brand-new, before i go with a refurbished at this price.

Jump on this. I have one that I picked up refurbed for $450. I paired it with their subwoofer and wireless rear speakers in my kids playroom. Sounds just as good as wired Receiver with my 5.1 system in my living room.
I bought and returned Bose 900 last year due to audio kept cutting out from time to time. Picked up the LG soundbar for $130 at Sam's club while it was one sale instead. Audio is nowhere near as good as the Bose one but it didn't give me any problems at all. If they fixed that issue with the audio this looks like a good deal
This gave me so much problem. No connecting, Out of sync, clunky app and menu. Had to unplug and plug all the time to get it to fully work. Sold it, it did sound good with the subwoofer you can get for it. 990c from samsung has been rock solid
