Let me give you the real answer. He never said he was putting it in his Mac Mini (Maybe you already knew that and I missed the sarcasm). You can't put this IN your Mac Mini but you can attach it TO your Mac Mini. You can put this in an external Thunderbolt 4 enclosure (Get a good one they are not all created equal) and attach it to your Mac Mini. Once attached to your Mac Mini you can run apps off it and store files on it instead of using your internal SSD. If you have the base model the external SSD can easily double the speed of the built in storage.

That is why someone would "Finish their Mac Mini" with this. A good quality external TB4 SSD enclosure will run you $100. So taking a $500 Mac Mini from 256GB to 4,256GB's for an extra $350ish bones is a pretty good deal. People on SD don't let Apple take advantage of them, they take advantage of Apple.

The Chase page does say it excludes workplace/employee discounts, so it seems like a bit of a risk unless there are DPs that it works. "Popular cash back site" is up to 10% on memory products as of around an hour ago, and I've gotten CB on a $3000 EPP appliance purchase from them, so at least be confident in that 10% coming through.

Same, worked for me with a .mil account and that coupon code. At about $42/tb w/ DRAM this is an overdue upgrade for me. Appreciate it.

I maybe mistaken, but I'm fairly certain you're confusing this with the 980 pro 4TB? I don't think I've ever seen the 990 pro 4TB less than $279 - and that was a year ago. I'm also not referring to EPP/EDU discounts.

Is there a way to change from student to military id.me on samsung? I have both student id and military id on my id.me account and samsung automatically chose student when signing up.
Samsung support wasnt any help and deleting the account doesnt work either as it remembers my idme connection.
