You can mitigate this buy running the PS4 version on PS5 for a locked 60fps.
Steam Deck 40hz mode runs it at 40fps as well.

I have and beaten this on the xSeriesX. Ran perfect. I might get it for the ps5 at this price.

Why would you buy the PS5 version when you can buy the PS4 version that gives you a free upgrade to the PS5 version. Plus locked 60fps is a good thing especially for games like this

It's not cross platform. The only issue I had was trying to find 4v4 pvp coliseum matches

Curious as to where PS5 version on PS5 Pro lands on this list? Is it better to still play the PS4 version on the PS5 Pro?

I was under the impression that over all the Series X version with VRR was the best cause of better visuals than the PS4 while having a greater VRR window than PS5. But now I'm wondering whether to pick this up for the PS5 or the Series X. I doubt From Soft are going to come up with any PS5 Pro patch.

The PS4 version appears to be sold out everywhere. Still available from Bandai/Namco's site, so hopefully retailers get it back at this price as well.

I think the performance boost (up to 30%?) with the PS5 Pro overcomes the disparity in the VRR window if running in performance mode...so it's at least second on the list.

That was a list in regards to "plays best" and doesn't factor in better visuals. But if you have a PS5 Pro or will get one...might as well get the PS4 version and give yourself all the best options and also the possibility of taking advantage of a PS5 Pro patch.
