I have this and frankly it's absolutely useless and terrible. Poor design.

Different people with different needs. I use this for hours everyday and find it quite useful. I think I know why you don't like it, it's almost impossible to change out the bits right? Even following directions and using pliers doesn't always work. But that's why I like it, it's the only extension that I've found to reliably retain the bit. The swivel is a bonus when needed also.

I haven't seen this before and it looks like it might save the day in some situations. But it also looks like it'd be really easy to strip screw heads with this. I think I'd try to find some other option, like a right angle driver or bit ratchet, before trying this.

How is it useless and terrible? Your account seems inconsistent with a majority of reviews.

Frankly I'm betting you thought this was a 45 / right angle adapter, didn't know it articulated to begin with, or tried to use it for building a deck with an impact driver then wonder why it broke after 5 minutes Wink

I use this all the time with an impact driver on home projects and back when I was a handyman. The bits are great and the swivel is very convenient to get in between studs without buying a right angle driver. Mine is still working fine but in for another for family.

I'm in for one. For $10 I will add this to my tool box - If I ever need it it will be there.

I was aware of the articulation, but removing the bit is almost impossible even with pliers. The tool has come in handy a couple times, and my issues with it are probably due to user error and inexperience

Makes sense, I have some bit holders that seem out of spec with certain brands of bits, you'd need pliers and an iron grip to separate them. Perhaps 'stacking tolerances.' Only had the issue with Irwin bit holders though.
