That's the case with my first gen. With that said, my (edit) phone used to get pretty warm while playing Diablo Immortal, so removing the case made sense to keep temps down.

I got one from this deal and don't care for it. Google said it works for brawl stars but it doesnt. Apparently android has a work spring but I'm iPhone. Some of the features are locked behind a 30 dollar
Annual subscription. Not bad but annoying. The steam link is laggy and the screen flashes. (I admit it could be my computer but it's frustrating.). I do have a good computer though. I'll be returning mine. Just my .02. I am probably not the target market.
