I just slotted four of these in a qnap nas in my office. I'm only a few hours in but the noise is definitely there. If you're bothered by small random sounds it might be better to put in a different room.

Looks like it sold out before I got a shot to cart my order. Still wondering if gold or red plus is better for anas in terms of performance and noise.
