I believe if you trade-in now you have a month to send it in to get the quoted payout.
But why trade-in if you can get actual cash and way more than Apple will pay out somewhere else?

By the time this " deal" rolls around, every other retailer will be either sold out of their current sale deals or will be back to regular price and a PM to them will mean nothing.
