Not sure if anybody is still looking at this thread but I can 100% say that in the past the GC were NOT included with education pricing. I also just spoke to someone at Apple support (literally 10 minutes ago) about something unrelated to this, but I asked if they price match and they said they do not. For anybody here that is saying that the do please confirm that it was actually Apple that did the price match and who you spoke to. I have never heard of Apple ever price matching.

I've looked at it a bit closer and for the most part, the apple gcs are on par with other outside offers. However, if you work hard enough, you can do better elsewhere so it just depends. There are so many offers abound, it's hard to tell, and you can't say for sure because everything is so different. For example, just getting these gcs is not the end of the story. Many of us have BBY promos on our paypal or credit card or a red card for even more savings. I have an Amex offer.

We might even see buy $100 apple gc, get a $15 apple gc which is even better if you are pro-apple.
