E: nvm seems like you only get the GC if you buy the phone without financing

Not sure if you know this but the people who are running these programs don't read the language, they do what they want.

Anybody we would get on the phone at Apple does not have the ability to override the system and send a gift card with an order. I can all but guarantee that orders through the education store will not get a gift card.
I also am still having a very hard time believing that Apple did any price matching. I hope it's true, but it just seems very unlikely.
