A. Shows MP251
B. Title is MP253. MP253 has 300 nits brightness -- a PLUS IMO.
C. Only difference I can easily see is that MP253 has a DP port that MP251 doesn't have.
D. MSI lists 3 yr. warranty for MP253. Since listed as new, hopefully, mfg. warranty should apply in addition to Woot 30 day warranty. I used credit card with additional 1 yr. warranty extension.
I ordered, LOL.
Not sure which is better . Any thoughts ?

Does it need an attachment/plate for VESA mounting?
I have zero knowledge on the subject, but have had monitors that have proprietary mounting and would need an attachment or plate to be able to VESA mount. This looks very similar.
I have a dual monitor mount and wish to use it. But not buy a plate for this.

It says VESA compliant
"VESA mounting compliant (75 x 75mm)"

IPS, the speakers and the DisplayPort (per MSI's specs) are all lovely features.
The warranty is 90 days btw. Kind of whatever, since it's a bit of a throw-away monitor that I'll be using in the garage or the kitchen.
For my main monitors I like to have higher resolution than just 1080p.
