Agree with the earlier posters. Can't see any reason to get this over the upcoming Costco deal for another $25 (+15 shipping if not picking up). Been waiting on that one (Nov 29th).

i7-14700F -> i9-14900F
16 GB RAM -> 32 GB RAM
+Costco return & warranty policies

Yikes.... Slickdeals is still supporting malicious comapnies like iBuyPower who defraud their customers?
And there you have it. The usual troll comment. Reliable retailers sell tons of these and reviews of buyers from those reputable resellers are solid. I have bought 2 IBP units from Costco and had ZERO issues.

Anybody know how the Indiana Jones code is being provided on these? I know redemption occurs via app, but the website suggests redemption can't begin without a code.

It's not referenced on this specific build at Costco but it is on others. Whereas Amazon references it for the virtually identical machine.

This is what my redemption shows:

Quote :
Install your qualified graphics card.
Update or install the latest version of the NVIDIA app.
Open and log in to the NVIDIA app.
Go to "REDEEM".
Enter your bundle code from your qualifying bundle purchase.
Select "REDEEM" to receive the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle™ game code.
Follow the remaining instructions on screen to sign in through your Steam account.

Weren't there issues with Intel chips or have those been resolved?

Well, if you want to take Intels word for it - the issue was resolved over a month ago. Haven't heard any accounts from people saying it isn't true but that would take a long time I suppose.

Info here:
https://www.theverge.com/2024/10/...-cause-fix

If I was gaming I'd rather get one of these AMD x3d deals, like maybe this one:
https://slickdeals.net/f/17907210-cyberpowerpc-desktop-ryzen-7-7800x3d-rtx-4070-super-32gb-ram-2tb-ssd-game-1430-free-shipping?src=SiteSearch

But I just do productivity and AI work these days so siding with the Intel.
