About this game:
  • Ultrahand: Using the new Ultrahand ability, Link can pick up, move, and rotate almost any object, and can even attach objects together to create bridges, vehicles, and more! Energy-Efficient Ethernet: Yes
  • Fuse: Magically fuse almost any object to Link's current weapon, shield, or arrow to increase durability, damage, or even add a new effect. Experiment with lots of different combinations to come up with surprising—and sometimes hilarious—results!
  • Ascend: Add a new dimension to your exploration with Ascend, which gives Link the ability to pass through solid objects above him. Rise up through ceilings, hillsides, and even certain enemies to create seemingly impossible shortcuts.
  • Recall: Use Recall to make objects in motion move backward through time, letting Link ride fallen boulders skyward, recover thrown weapons, or send projectiles back where they came from.

Don't wait for it to go any lower! One of the best games ever. BotW was amazing and they completely topped it w TofK. Within a few hours in you will realize it was so worth it!
No, Walmart says $30 on 11/25. It's $69.99 currently

Do I need to be on yearly + or monthly is the same
Last year it worked unless it was the free trial period of Walmart +. YMMV if you're on the free trial of Walmart + if you still get access to the sales but I imagine not.

Absolute steal of a deal. Could not possibly go wrong buying this game. One of the best video game experiences I've ever had, and all other games are ruined for me now.

You may be the only person whose copy ran "like crap." Never heard anyone say that before about the Zelda games on switch.

Echoes of wisdom especially does but I'm still playing it, but when I was hoping the switch 2 would come out this fall it seems worth it to flip but I'll probably try it again when it goes on sale this time. I know some people emulate it but I'm not going down that rabbit hole for newer consoles.

Eh, I think BoTW was the most overrated Zelda game ever. Big giant empty world, don't get any rewards really for exploring outside rupies in villages over runned by enemies, weapons can break, master sword can lose energy, no real dungeons as levels, instead go into the mythical beasts and those weren't even challenging. I think if this game didn't have Zelda in the title it would have been reviewed much more harshly.
I can see many of the weaknesses you mentioned for Botw and many more. Do you think Totk improves it enough to become a top-rated game?

If this game is for single player, I'd like to give a try. But I love AAA games, like Doom 2016 ($5), Witcher 3 ($20), Mass Effect LE ($6). So how good is this game compared to the PC games I listed?

Picked this up from Costco for $30 last year to give as a gift, but then found out the person already had a copy. Just been sitting on it all year, and it's kind of crazy but this is the first time I've seen it go back down to $30 again.

Well one is a Switch game that can be played on any Switch anywhere and is family friendly, the others are PC games. Not really comparable outside of being a video game.

Wouldn't be surprised if TOTK gets remade (enhanced) for Switch 2, but with DLC.

Waiting almost 8 years for a 40% off sale. That's how we stay rich, boys.
