Don't buy these style air fryers. They cook very slowly and will be dead before 2025 ends no matter how much you take care of it. They look somewhat better on the counter but the basket air fryers are so much better.

Just got this the other day. Quality is lacking. One quirk I noticed is that opening the glass door is easy with one hand but closing it takes both hands and a lot of force. Is that normal or do I have a defect?

I had FOMO fears and bought one instantly on black Friday for my in-store pickup, figured I could return if I didn't want it.

I'll be returning this one ASAP, I didn't even open it.

FWIW I was walking through suburban Philly Walmart 3 days ag, and they still had a small mountain of these.

People aren't buying at $50

Any one knows the width of the cooking area? Is it wide enough for a 12" pizza?

Found it at Target Q&A: 10x10

Pity that the manufacturer does provide specifications of the cooking area anywhere.

There's also the loads of acrylamide created every time you air fry anything with starchy, like breaded filets or taquitos.
Sounds scary but I don't think I'm going to lose too much sleep over eating burnt toast

From my experience, basket style air fryers cook better than oven style like this

In for 1 just in case. I've already got the Instant Pot Vortex Plus 4QT Air Fryer on its way to me. Does anybody know how the two compare?
Yeah, they compare apples to oranges!!

Looks like no reviews on this yet. Must be a Black Friday targeted release.

That said, you can see that the drip tray definitely looks like it has a non-stick coating. The mesh baskets, it's impossible to tell
Any idea, WHERE that "protective plastic coating" may have gone...???Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I almost bit on this one. But the bad reviews scared me off.
Instead, I got this Chefman one from Amazon Resale in used - like new - condition for $2.09 more (with the 20% off BF/CM discount.) it's 10 qt vs this one's 14 qt size, but I don't need one that big anyways, and the smaller one will give me more room on the countertop, while giving me enough space to cook almost anything I'll ever use it for.

Thank you, seems that's a better one. Is the interior also stainless steel with no coats ? Isn't clear from the picture.
