So the total price after cheapest 1 month plan to activate would come to ~$115+taxes? Does it unlock automatically after 2 months or do you have to send a text? I was planning on buying something for my uncle abroad for Christmas

It should auto unlock over wifi. ST phones can be activated on tracfone $15 plan by rebranding. That's probably the cheapest.

Thinking about getting this phone for my daughter to play with instead of a new tablet…do I have to purchase anything other than the phone at the time of purchase? It's either this phone or the A15 from QVC. Don't really care about cell service as long as it will be able to use WiFi/hotspot

Can I activate this with Tracfone? Or do I have to wait 2 months for it to unlock?
The website says it has 8GB of RAM.?? 25-watt fast charging. The processor runs at 2.4 GHZ, so the phone should be fast..??

You should be able to rebrand to TracFone. The 8gb ram on Walmart should be a mistake. It's 6gb everywhere else.

Is this better then the moto g power 2024? Was looking at that one also, has 8gb of ram, not sure how much difference that makes, but this one has a nicer screen I think.

Is this only for Walmart+ members, page confuses me?

Currently using a moto g7 optimo max, which is acting crazy slow so I'm guessing this would be a big update, not very phone savvy...
