Just returned our gateway this am. After a big outage earlier this week, this AM we woke to no internet. Tmo pushed an update to our gateway and bricked it. Our billing cycle starts on the 20th. Today is the 21st, they said they will cancel it next bill cycle - $46.45/mo for a service that barely worked and now I owe an extra month for a service I can't even use. Before the outage and before they bricked our gateway, it was pretty rough to use it. We could see speeds in the 70mpbs range at most, but it would drop and doing a zoom call across it was not feasible.

Did this last year for a free 43" Fire TV and fought them for 6 months and never got the TV rebate I followed all rules on. Be careful

A 4 series 43" is more of the "current" model, while they still sell the 2 series for ~80$ less at 150$. Just a general idea on value / recency of what you are getting.

I'm on a plan from 2021, insego device, business class plan at 50/mo. I'm on the road 200+ a year (currently in Tampa) - it works well 70% of the time. It is affected by traffic (other phones). There are times it's a rocket >500mbs, and for me the upload is more important and I've seen >300mbs. Most of the time it's usable - even driving for a zoom. I've kept it - and I've three phones (one on each), and a plethora of iPads with sims. For me (insurance adjuster) - it's worthwhile. I use it in the hotels about 90% of the time as well - no dealing with the typical hotel wifi bs. decent alternative to starlink, especially at 80mph on the highway.
You're lucky, but they'll catch up to you eventually unless business plans are different. Technically people should be paying either $110 or $160 a month depending if they want unlimited or a capped amount. My first modem had issues and wouldn't work 5 miles from my house at a T-Mobile store and they called and it was because it was away from the home address which made troubleshooting it next to impossible. I did have the newer white modem so that may have played into it. Either way, anyone who plans on buying this deal thinking they can take it wherever they want don't be surprised when you can't.

Yeah I tried THI two different times. It was barely serviceable. I even spent $400 on the external antennas for my house and it helped make it more consistent but still slow and frustrating. I ended up with Starlink and while it sucks that around the corner from my house local cable and fiber is half the price, at least I can game and download consistently on Starlink.

Wish it was $35 without a postpaid plan. Don't wanna use up one of my autopay discounts for this.
I wasn't aware that there is a max discount for autopay. What is the cap on the discount?

I'd 100% fight this charge and file complain to the FCC.
Glad I dumped TMobile who is now no different than Verizon or AT&T. Each has a benefit or two over the other but for me since most of my usage is via WiFi, I'm fine with a smaller carrier.

I got $200 Visa gc rebate with $30 home internet order. This deal is $50 less.
How long did it take for the Visa gc to arrive? I signed up and submitted the form in late-September and I am still waiting. I think the fine print said 60 days and 60 days for me is coming up.

I wanted to try it but it says "T-Mobile 5G Home Internet is not currently available at your address. But you are eligible to receive Home Internet LITE! "

Anyone know what this Home Internet LITE is?

started this one about a year ago and worked well at beginning and then the speed dropped to the point that is unuseable. the latency also crazy high.
