Anyone using this as a hotspot in the car?
Careful on using it mobile. I have two T-Mobile Internet Modems. 1 for the house and one for the RV. The one for the RV stopped working a couple of weeks ago. It will only work in near my house. I read that T-Mobile was instituting Location Blocking and now they have. There's the end of my $30 mobile internet setup.... I would complain but it was in the contract from day-1 and I knew it would happens sooner or later.

It is great for a static service but for mobile, they would like you to use one of their mobile units and mobile plans.

So many bad reviews and bad experiences. Is it really that BAD?
I guess I pass.
There's usually 90 day honeymoon period with 5G, then new customers slam the TMO network to 2.5G third class data without data caps.

its better to go with Visible+ for consistent service backup or solo.

I live in Western NY and tried t mobile home internet for 2 days. It is super slow and nearly unusable. I have no plan to try their 5g again. Please make sure you trial for few days before registering with their plan. Some area might have better signal.
I was looking into getting it for Weaverville, NC. What area are you in? Have Frontier right now but it's over $80.

I wonder if this will work in a rural area. Says it's available for my address. Just used for internet browsing and streaming.

Lots of variables come in to play like distance from tower, obstacles between tower(trees, hills, buildings) and congestion on tower.

If you have or know someone with T-Mobile cell service you can get a good idea.
If not, you can sign up and try it. Get the $150 gift card after 60 days then cancel after that if it's not acceptable and you come out ahead $50 or break even.

In Niagara falls, NY. It depends on your area. You can give it a shot for a week and cancel it if you dont like. They have 15 days I believe for customer satisfaction before free return.

Site shows $150 on the page but I'm seeing a pop up bubble that says "get $300 back, ask me how"…I think that leads to their chat.
