Just returned our gateway this am. After a big outage earlier this week, this AM we woke to no internet. Tmo pushed an update to our gateway and bricked it. Our billing cycle starts on the 20th. Today is the 21st, they said they will cancel it next bill cycle - $46.45/mo for a service that barely worked and now I owe an extra month for a service I can't even use. Before the outage and before they bricked our gateway, it was pretty rough to use it. We could see speeds in the 70mpbs range at most, but it would drop and doing a zoom call across it was not feasible.

Did this last year for a free 43" Fire TV and fought them for 6 months and never got the TV rebate I followed all rules on. Be careful

A 4 series 43" is more of the "current" model, while they still sell the 2 series for ~80$ less at 150$. Just a general idea on value / recency of what you are getting.

My post about the $300 Mastercard rebate from 12/19 was merged with this one, which is why some of the comments seem off. Originally, this post only mentioned the TV and the $150 rebate until it was edited a few hours ago.

When I returned my T-Mobile Internet access point they billed me full price for the perfectly fine unit. When I disputed it they said "too bad we think it's broken"

Need to activate unit within 30 days of delivery to get credit for promo. Need to keep service for 60 days until the prepaid card will be sent.

Yeah man, I agree with you T-Mobile you can't trust them with rebates. The last time I did a rebate with them it was for a Samsung galaxy S 24 free case. Never got my free case did everything correctly submitted.

Same happened to me, but I read in T Mobile forum to go through facebook customer service since the ones one the phone were so rude and would only give me a $100 credit. They ended up giving me a $389 credit which was what they valued the TV at.
