I just had one of two separate orders for AT&T white iPhone 16 128GB get canceled with no explanation. I can redo the order process but was wondering if it was one device per Walmart+ account or if I can place multiple orders per line?

UPDATE: both orders now canceled.
UPDATE 2: Customer service suggested it was due to adding a new credit card and using that card for payment right before ordering.
Last year I ordered 3 iPhones to upgrade phones on my account and the first one went through and the other two were cancelled with no explanation like yours. I was given a similar explanation when I called and they tried but couldn't fix it. I think maybe they suggested trying again later but it still got cancelled right away. I read somewhere else that if you create a new Walmart account it will work, so I tried that and it did. So if you didn't get yours to work just create a new Walmart account and you should be able to order them on that account. It doesn't make sense but it works.

Brilliant ! I am in Locked Carrier: 2387 - US Verizon Locked Policy as well. Sounds like you lucked out. So for folks like us we have to wait for phone to show up. Turn on and then disconnect ?
this in incorrect, Everyones phone will say Locked carrier: 2387 -US Verizon Locked Policy if their phone is in transit and you haven't cancelled the line yet. That's because it doesn't change to the 4000- US Reseller Flex Policy status until the line is cancelled prior to activation.

Where did you find the IMEI number on the pdf file? Mine just says (it does also show phone number):
DESCRIPTION OF GOODS: IP15 PM 256 NT/MU683LL/A ("Device")
It is in a pdf file named Customer Agreement. I saw 3 files with that same name on myVerizon account documents.

I went to att store to ask for a new account, and it is approved, but strange thing is I cannot receive verification code and att said they cannot find my info in their system. Not sure if it is too short time for a new att number or some other issues. Did you open the new account online and declined?
Yes, I tried opening a new account via Walmart, but I received a message: "We were not able to approve your application. Please contact AT&T at 800...". I do have an account with ATT, but it is internet only, so it didn't allow me to use add a line option.

Just disconnected my Verizon line. Here's a summary for others benefit

Nov 25:
- Ordered Verizon iPhone 15 Plus
- Phone was shipped and Verizon line activated (Downloaded activation document as proof for Walmart GC)
- Created Verizon Login and linked phone number

Nov 26:
- Added credit card, paid off $829 balance for iPhone 15 Plus
- Disconnected line by Live agent chat. They initially wanted to set cancellation effective at end of billing cycle, but I insisted to cancel effective immediately (to avoid activation fee and plan fee for rest of the month)
- iPhone 15 Plus is in transit, will receive by Nov 29

Nov 29 Plan:
- When I turn on the phone, it cannot connect to Verizon as line is disconnected
- Will activate with T-Mobile eSIM (a flex policy iPhone can be activated on any US carrier)
- I expect to get my $400 Walmart GC after 20 to 25 days (The terms only require Verizon activation, they do not require line to be active to process GC. At least 2 people cancelled within 3 days last year and still got the GC, see here)

Note:
- If everything goes per plan, my effective cost for 128 GB iPhone 15 Plus will be $490 ($829 + $51 Tax + $10 pro rate plan - $400 Walmart GC)
- I plan to ask T-Mobile to unlock after 40 days. There is a possibility T-Mobile will refuse and say the phone was sold by Verizon and cannot be unlocked by T-Mobile.
Hi - If in case T-mobile refuse to unlock the phone , what's your next step to unlock it. I need a unlocked phone to use dual sim.

Unlocking is important, but not a 100% necessity for me. So take what I say in that context.

- Based on others experience and my research into flex locked iPhones, I am very confident T-Mobile will unlock it. It's 100% technically possible, so it's a matter of talking to the right agent (like T-Force). See attached screenshot from a T-Force chat on Nov 23 (posted by SDer lifesuxass911), T-Mobile can clearly see its a first activation lock policy and processed the unlock.
- If they refuse after 40 days, I have the luxury to wait a few months and try again. I figure the longer I use the iPhone on their network, harder it will be for them to refuse
- If I get really frustrated, I can escalate with a FCC complaint (this apparently is very effective)
- I do travel internationally and prefer using global sims (through Airalo). For this, T-Mobile can temporarily unlock for a month at a time as needed. I have also found T-Mobile data works pretty ok in most international locations (I am on Magenta, this is included).

Upgraded two lines with att. $35 per line upgrade fee plus $59 taxes for each iPhone 16 pro. Once I get it plan to activate it. Can I trade in iPhone 13 at AT&T store to get the $830 trade in value or trade in with Walmart to get $700 discount. Not clear about this part. Can someone reply who did this trade in process. Does it take 6 weeks to get the Walmart gift card ?
Like you, I was also confused, so I spoke to a Walmart representative yesterday. She said that since it's a Walmart Black Friday Promotion, you will only get the credit stated in Walmart's terms and conditions, not AT&T's terms and conditions regarding the trade-in credits. Also, you need to bring the iPhone to AT&T since Walmart doesn't do the trading process, according to the representative. You may need proof of purchase since it may be required for the promotions.

sitting at a store right now and the person pulled the inventory sheet and there are zero iPhone 15s and 16s in my entire geographical region. She stated Walmart mostly stocks old phones like the 14 for cost purposes. So chances are slim to get a 15 or 16 in store. I'd get it online. I was hoping to get the gift card quickly in store to get an Apple Watch on sale but may just have to gamble with the price going back up.

The Walmart eGift condition is "requires installment activation of eligible phone on either att or Verizon payment plan". Does this mean have to activate the device on Verizon ?
Can someone please confirm on this ? Do we need to get the phone and activate it on Verizon and then cancel to get the Walmart GC ?
