So what does this mean?
One should cancel the VZ line to make it 4000 US seller flex policy?
I plan to use the phone on tmobile. Wouldnt mind it locked to tmobile for few months.
Here's what he is saying
If you disconnect Verizon service before turning ON the phone, the iPhone Unlock policy will change to "4000 US seller flex policy".

I cancelled Verizon service while the phone was in transit. When I check IMEI on SICKW, it shows the Unlock policy is "4000 US seller flex policy"

Note: I did not check the unlock policy before disconnecting the line. So I cannot confirm if it was under Verizon unlock policy prior to service disconnection.

Don't trust. The chat reference does not mean anything. They can simply say later it was a training issue or error. That's very common nowadays everywhere.

1. When you placed order with Walmart
- You signed up for a Verizon installment payment plan

2. When Walmart shipped the oder
- A Verizon line was automatically activated for you

1 & 2 satisfies the gift card terms. See copy of my Verizon Activation document that confirms activation. There is a similar document that confirms installment payment plan for the iPhone (which includes the device IMEI). These 2 docs should be proof to fight any gc disputes with Walmart.
The words being activation of eligible phone ?

When Walmart ships the phone, they activate the Verizon line on Wireless no xxx and phone IMEI xxx. Both phone number and device are activated. This is the reason (I believe), the unlock policy on the phone shows "Locked to Verizon" right after the phone ships. Also, if you log into Verizon, you can see the device IMEI tied to the activated wireless number.

Then you are doing it wrong. Please follow instructions posted several times in this thread. The phone cannot be be paid off online or through the app. It can be paid off by only calling a very specific phone number from a non-Verizon phone.
