Can someone break down the steps to get the 15 pro (or the on the one which comes with AI) and then how to get the 16? Just need it simplified. Sorry I read most of the posts and each got more confusing.

So to reiterate
If I want an iPhone 16 Pro Max
33$/month 36 month I check it out and sign an installment with AT&T on Walmart website
It ships and arrives let's say in 3 days- a week
I go into AT&T in a week with my new and old phone apply it to the line I just upgraded a week ago?
Or should I start the trade in process online on AT&T website
How long is the up to $1000 promo good for?
