iPhones are unlocked automatically 60 days after activation (with IMEI and a paid plan). You don't even need to open the box. Simply check sickw.com on day 60 or 61 and the status should show unlocked. You can then setup the phone anywhere, without or with a SIM from different service provider.

Bought this from previous deal.

Used edge with ms shopping which was 15% back last time. Bought 2 and showing $30 back pending on both transactions. It's 12% now and seems the best deal available.

I had chase offers on both freedom unlimited and CSR for 25% back capped at $15. Those both qualified so $45 cb plus standard cb from credit cards combined. I see the chase offers are back on both of those cards for me now; almost tempted to try and buy 2 more.

Received both phones, they will come with SIM card and instructions taped to back of iPhone box. Follow instructions which include going to straight talk activation website and inserting the sim. The silver, or whichever plan you choose, is tied to the sim and you will see a message to that effect when completing activation on the website. Once activated, text UNLOCK to 611611 twice and you will receive a response that lists the unlock date. You only have to pay 1 month of service and the device will unlock 60 days post activation.

Can someone please help me how to buy it from Walmart. I really need this phone.. Do have to give port in number? Which plan to take? Who does the activation? If it is possible explain the whole process please. Thank you
Savings requires in-store activation on the Straight Talk wireless $45 plan or higher. In the past, the store had to have an independent instore cell phone rep, no regular hours. Best to go online, search for iphone 13, you'll see the promo, search for stores that have them, or go to you nearest biggest store and ask. Some have reported being sold a phone by regular managers, some were able to order online with no plan. I think a sale starts again tonight, might be able to purchase online if you get in early. Locked to ST for 60 days after activation.

It's around $260 after tax (depending on your local sales tax). Plus many folks have been combining this with cb deals so it could end up being under $200 net. And finally you're getting a brand new phone.
Are you calculating the cost of one month of plan which you have to buy and activate?

This isn't hard or complicated. You buy the phone, add a month of service, add taxes.

$199 - Phone
+$45 (or $42.50) - Silver Plan
+$20.44 - taxes
= $264.44

It shows $199 in store price Walmart with purchase of the silver plan. This phone screams Verizon all over, but I have AT&T prepaid! will it work for me??

Funny story, Last Black Friday 2023 I lucked out at my local Walmart the electronics coach let me purchase the
SE 2022 ST version brand new $50 each black Friday promotionwithout activation because their third-party phone activation system was down that morning. I was only allowed to buy two of them at that price🤣 one I sold the same day for $125. The other one I still have but it's true like others say the battery is horrific. I just keep it as a back up phone to my iPhone 11 🤣🤘🏻😎👌

You keep blabbing and saying all those media sources are incorrect with 6.1" display and you are right that the display will be smaller because cannibalism. Read what you wrote. You predicted what display so you can bump this thread up later 4 months and say "I told you so". If you think everyone is wrong, what is your display size prediction? What is your processor prediction? So you can bump it up later.

As for thumbs up? Don't get too caught up in that and assume that this deal is a "460 thumbs up quality deal". Lot of people will just thumb up +$1,000 iphones that gets discounted for $100-200 and that has huge number of thumbs up too. You can put a brick inside an apple box and some people would be happy with it. $244 is still $244 for a 2021 model with 2025 around the corner. Curb your enthusiasm.
You think it's a good bang for the buck esp for iPhone trade ins down the road? I thought there was 14 or something for some similar price like last month from att or Verizon, man these iPhones deals are hard to come...trying to move to iphones w/o spending 1k+

After I open the box, if I use "Quick Start" to transfer all the data/apps from my old iPhone SE2 to this iPhone 13, will it also transfer the eSIM(with USMobile service) to the new phone, and possibly screw up the activation the new phone with StraightTalk service, and lose the chance to unlock the phone?
I am trying to find out the right order to set up the new phone with data/apps transferred from the old phone. Should I activate the ST service online via their website first, before I transfer the data/apps from the old phone through "Quick Start"?
I understand if I just set up the new phone without any data transfer(just like I don't have an existing iPhone), then I just need to set up the phone as most people here are doing, quite straight forward, but in my case, I have 20+ important apps with their data to be re-used so I need "Quick Start"(or restore data from iTunes backup) to "move" the data over.
Please advise. Thanks!

We are still waiting for your big prediction for the display size and processor because you know way more than all these other media sources. In your own words, you want bump this thread later and say "I told you so" 4 months later.

Predictions?

(Cricket sounds)...... You will make your prediction after release day and edit your old posts. Haha

Do you really need to get a budget iphone now? There will be plenty of iphone 13 deals around simply because Apple discontinued them. MVNOs carry them and also because it is 2021 line and 2025 is approaching. If you could wait a year, wait a year and see what the iphone 14 and SE 2025 deals are. MVNO constantly put out iphone and android deals. I never buy a top of the line latest iphone because they are so expensive. I simply buy a new older basic model or SE when the deal is right. This 2025 SE is definitely more intriguing on a deal ofcourse.

No, it will not transfer the eSIM over. The eSIM transfer is a dedicated and deliberate process separate from the iPhone set up process.

Activate the phone on ST-make sure it works, get the unlock date, reset the phone, then use quick start.

Did you mean I should first set up the phone without any data/app transfer(just like I don't have any existing iPhone at all), activate the phone, make sure to get the unlock date. Then after it's unlocked(I don't mind to wait 60 days while I can continue using the old iPhone), then I do factory reset the phone, which could trigger "Quick Start" for the data/app transfer, is that right? I assume "factory reset" won't bring an unlocked phone to be locked again, is that correct?

For the initial phone setup(after I open the iPhone 13 box), should I first activate the phone online via ST's website, then insert the SIM card to the phone and power it on? or should I first insert the SIM card to the phone, power it on, then I activate the phone on ST's website?

Thanks again!
