iPhones are unlocked automatically 60 days after activation (with IMEI and a paid plan). You don't even need to open the box. Simply check sickw.com on day 60 or 61 and the status should show unlocked. You can then setup the phone anywhere, without or with a SIM from different service provider.

Bought this from previous deal.

Used edge with ms shopping which was 15% back last time. Bought 2 and showing $30 back pending on both transactions. It's 12% now and seems the best deal available.

I had chase offers on both freedom unlimited and CSR for 25% back capped at $15. Those both qualified so $45 cb plus standard cb from credit cards combined. I see the chase offers are back on both of those cards for me now; almost tempted to try and buy 2 more.

Received both phones, they will come with SIM card and instructions taped to back of iPhone box. Follow instructions which include going to straight talk activation website and inserting the sim. The silver, or whichever plan you choose, is tied to the sim and you will see a message to that effect when completing activation on the website. Once activated, text UNLOCK to 611611 twice and you will receive a response that lists the unlock date. You only have to pay 1 month of service and the device will unlock 60 days post activation.

man... just think about it... obviously they want to sell you.... please read... so many ppl have already gone through the process and have explained many many times that it's just 30 paid and 30 wait

Imei2 is for esim - your ST plan activates by using the physical sim. If you're going to use sim you need a new service plan.

just got mine today... process was insanely easy. duno how ppl are messing it up. mine is unlocking 1/25/25. imo the iphone 13 is the last good iphone in the US... still having a physical sim and the notch. that dogsht island is so annoying. really hope the iphone se4 has the notch and physical sim, still [in the us]

Totally agree, couldn't be easier - but from reading all the previous posts on SD for ST/TW/TF it's painfully obvious people just don't bother reading instructions before they purchase or activate.

I followed the instructions. Put sim in phone, didn't activate so went to ST website where it said phone was locked to Total Wireless, called TW and have been transferred back and forth all day. Worst service I've ever gotten.

I agree their service is extremely poor due to language issues (I always use chat so I can understand). Try calling Straight Talk again, they should be able to see your purchase (have order number to verify) and be patient - you're dealing with people that don't understand when things get screwed up, they rely on the manual. If necessary request a supervisor/higher level support to get a more knowledgeable rep.

Several people in an earlier thread on SD also had similar problems, they finally got it fixed but it took hours.

To add to oregon14, 1 user said install the total ap and chat there, it worked fairly fast per user.

Got mine and activated within minutes. While it's working fine on ST, the phone shows TFW which I think means Tracfone wireless. Unlock date 1/25/25 after texting 611611

That's because Total Wireless, Tracfone, & Straight Talk are all Verizon MVNO's and under the "Tracfone Wireless" brand, owned by Verizon for 3 years.

Since the locking period is 60 days , what happens if I do not recharge on the 30th day. Will the phone still gets automatically unlocked on 60th day ? Or we must recharge it on the 30th day mandatorily to get it unlocked on 60th day ??
