Since the phone is "On Us with trade" Via 24 monthly bill credits, then the phone won't be paid off until 2 years later (after 24 monthly bill credits). Meaning you can't Unlock the phone until 2 years from the time the phone has been active on the T-Mobile network on the requesting line.

That's impossible, how can I mail it and have them receive it the next day? They should have an expiration date at least a week or two away, so that I can first receive and activate the new Pixel 9, copy stuff over (if needed), delete all my personal info from the Pixel 6 ("You will remove all Device data and personal information, passwords, security software, or user locks."), then ship it to them and leave time for shipping carrier to get it to them.
So I reluctantly backed out at the final step.

If so then that sounds like the clear winner to me over paying $200+ for a screen repair that they may or may not accept....
It's possible that you can pay off the remainder of the phone and then send it in. I don't remember when they changed their policy on bill credits and paying off phones early and if things are grandfathered in or if the new policy will override whatever was in place when you got the old phone. Either way I wouldn't chance it.
It lists the S21 right after the Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra for $800 TIV at the top of the post.

This will be my third Pixel and I've purchased the last 2 used. I've noticed about a $100 price difference between the used models on ebay. The Pixel 7 I'm trading cost me around $200 earlier this year and the Pros were going for 300 at the time. Obviously they have gone down in price since then.
You will be paying $200 more and since it's more expensive you will also pay about $20 more in taxes. I doubt your phone will be worth 200 more than a regular one when you decide to sell it.
But hey, it's all speculation and I'm no market analyst lol
Have you tried to purchase it? Go into your account and select upgrade. The Pixel 9 should show promotions. Click it and see. It will let you go thru the steps without actually paying.
You say every year but your examples are all from 2022 lol I agree with the other user, none have worked for my lines which came with a heavy discount from Sprint. Everyone will have a different experice with this tho. Either way I'm happy I finally got a promo on a flagship phone!
Because it works for existing customers. Because it's $800 of credits over two years. Because I was gonna stay with T-Mobile for two years anyway. Because I only pay like $19 per line on my plan.
